Novena to St. Gerard, Day 7.

For the Gift of Right Judgement

"Foster that love which flows from a pure heart, a clean conscience and a sincere faith."
-1 Tim 1:5

St. Gerard, ask the Lord to grant me the grace of right judgement, so that I may know God's plan for my life and the lives of those whom I love. Help me to rely on Divine Wisdom to make conscientious choices following the path of God's law.
For those times when I choose not to walk along the path of virtue, teach me to repent and approach the Sacrament of Reconciliation with great confidence in the Lord's mercy. Ask him to grant me a humble heart to recognize my sinfulness and my need for forgiveness. Amen.

Novena Prayer

St. Gerard, you loved God and served Him faithfully while on earth. Now from heaven, teach me to have great confidence in the Lord and to recognize His faithful love in my life.

Trusting in your powerful intercession before the most Blessed Trinity, I ask you to obtain this favor (mention your request). I believe there is no limit to what God can do, and I place my faith in His infinite wisdom and goodness, always at work even when I cannot see or understand it. I ask you to guide me along life's journey until the day I will join you and all the angels and saints in heaven to praise God for all eternity.

Recite the Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be.
