St. Gerard.

I am linking to a post I made about St. Gerard which includes information about St. Gerard parish in NY, from whom I received a handkerchief, some holy cards, and a beautiful note assuring me of the prayers of the parish.
I strongly encourage expectant parents and those who wish to become parents to e-mail this parish for their handkerchief and to spread the word about St. Gerard.
I was just a few days into my Novena when I received word that yes, indeed, I was going to be a mother. I'm not saying St. Gerard will always work that quickly (after all, it's God's infinite wisdom which determines such things) but knowing that St. Gerard is kneeling before the throne of God on my behalf is comforting beyond words.
As I anxiously await our Blessed Event, I pray fervently that St. Gerard will intercede on behalf of all who yearn for a child this year.
